RPC 16

16 Relay Peripheral Card

The RPC 16 is an output module packaged on a Single EURO Size pcb, for use with the ABACO® Industrial BUS.

The board comprises 16 Output lines wired to microrelays, of which the operation is displayed by LEDs mounted to the front part.

Suppressors on all lines minimize interference from the switching of reactive loads.

Typical applications are those calling for several logic outputs in modular units of 16; field interfacing problems are thus readily solved, and costs optimized at the same time.

The layout of the indicator LEDs, the adoption of a D connector and convenient software control combine to facilitate the use of the board enormously.

An advantageous feature RPC 16 is its ability to activate a check on the status of the 16 outputs, thereby affording more secure control.

The option exists of fitting a front panel in aluminium for 3HE or 4TE Rack.

This provides further screening and a secure anchorage by means of two relative screws. Removal is facilitated by the inclusion of a convenient front handle.
